Is my skin type suitable for this treatment?

Our Duetto laser includes both Alexandrite and ND:Yag lasers which allows us to treat all skin types, even darker tones.

How will I feel during the treatment?

Laser hair removal is not painless but is tolerated well, mildly uncomfortable. The Duetto’s integrated cooling system makes our laser treatments one of the most comfortable available.

How will I look immediately after?

Some mild erythema, nothing more.

When will I see the full results?

After your first treatment you will see a significant reduction in hair, however it will usually take 6-8 treatments for larger areas to be completely hair free.

Will I need more than one treatment?

Laser hair removal is highly effective and typically a long-term solution, the main variable is how many treatments are required however we can assess this during your free consultation before having a treatment. It is important that follow up treatments are also taken at the times recommended by our practitioner.

What would prevent me from having this treatment?

The following conditions would restrict you from having this treatment; pacemaker; defibrillator; pregnant or nursing; cancer; epilepsy, auto immune disease, lupus, AIDS and diabetes. Medication restrictions include roacutane; anti-coagulants; steroids; tetracyclines or St John’s Wort.

You CAN NOT have this treatment if;

you have any synthetic fillers, gold threads, plastic threads or fat implants
Mesotherapy, light peels, laser or IPL within 2 weeks of the treatment date
Natural fillers, fractional or microneedling within 4 weeks of the treatment date
Cryolipolysis within 3 months of the treatment date
