The results from Profhilo treatments will most often last for up to six months, but may vary from individual to individual.
Profhilo makes the skin glow and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced, or can disappear. You’ll notice smoother, tighter skin, and after just a single course of Profhilo, which involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, you can expect to see intense hydration of the skin.
You can expect increased firmness, elasticity and improved quality in your skin for up to six months after your treatment.
Hyaluronic Acid is very well tolerated by the skin as the body also produces HA naturally. The only reported side effects are light bruising and mild swelling at the injection sites, and these generally disappear in a short period of time. This happens because Profhilo is injected with a fine needle, rather than any effect from the Profhilo treatment itself.
Following treatment, there may be signs of redness and swelling however this will usually subside within a few hours or at a maximum, one day.
